just finished cutting the grass......time to get some major trades completed....then off to the movies to watch "Pirates......." then Nationwide.

Father's Day weekend is here!

I used to dread Father's Day....

but the last 7 years with my little girl and the last 2 with my son...
(while VERY stressful...)

First TIGER post of the day!

Dan: think Maggi is okay? he sure looks and plays like he is still hurting. His movement in the outfield and running the bases tell me he needs more time off to heal.

Nope he's fine. I say this with 100% confidence. Look at Ordonez before his DL trip, he didnt pull the ball EVER except for maybe 3-4 times at most. Look at Ordonez now, he's pulling the ball like crazy, hitting the ball very hard (sadly at people who make great defensive plays; see the Asdrubal Cabrera play).

He's just an AWFUL defender, he's always been bad, he's slow, very slow. I mean if you look at yesterdays defense though, its clear we dont care about defense, Avila at 3rd (trainwreck) Vmart at catcher (trainwreck) Ordonez in rightfield (trainwreck) Boesch in left (trainwreck). Boesch is a MUCH better right fielder, not close to as good in left)

Oh and cant forget Raburn at 2nd (HUGE trainwreck)

Its one of the downfalls of interleague play. Its either take one of your top 3 hitters on the season out of the lineup or put them at a position they'll most likely fail at.

I wouldnt worry Randy. Its one of those awful games that happened last night. a .500 road trip in my opinion is perfectly ok, mainly because its NL rules.

I'll be happy with a .500 road trip....but thinking it's not gonna happen.

Take 1 of 2 from the Rockies and 2 of 3 from the Dodgers. Or take the next 2 from Colorado take 2 of 3 from LA and it becomes a 4-2 road trip
