I think Scherzer's value personally becomes less imporant overall if Fister is as good as he was in the 2nd half of the season. I think Jackson is key, not because he plays the same position as Granderson, but based on the fact he is the leadoff hitter. Great rookie season, not as good 2nd year, he'll be 25 next year though, so he's still very young.

If he can get on base more consistently, and post a .350 OBP, thats all you need from him, he is amazing in center field defensively already.

I think if you took him out of the leadoff spot and hit him 2nd, it may help, of course, that requires then getting an actual leadoff hitter
