    I hope Yankees/Tigers goes 40 innings tonight. Then whoever wins gets swept by the Rangers.

        My bad. I had forgotten that the Tigers had such an amazing rotation and it would be inconceivable to think the Rangers lineup could score runs off of such incredible pitching.

              Can you believe this? Supposedly they FIRED Francona? (Sarcasm at it's best!)

              So, what do you guys think about Theo? Think he really wants to go to the Cubs? Or is he using that to get the President position in Boston?

                Did I say they did?

                Besides, the Ogando thing was a joke, because he's the only Rangers pitcher that beat the Tigers this year, he went 3-0 with a ERA like under 1, every other Rangers starter got knocked around a bit. Simply was a joke.

                40 inning game would be fine by me though, it'd mean Don Kelly makes his postseason pitching debut!

                  Theo hasn't said anything from what I've read. The Cubs just asked to talk to him about their GM spot..I would stay in Boston if I were him though, Cubs really outside of a few guys don't have a great foundation to win quickly.

                    He is using the shot at the Cubs to try and get the President position with the Sox. But, on the flip side, would not surprise me that much if he decided to leave!

                          In a mediocre NL Central after the Brewers lose Fielder and/or the Cards lose Pujols? Yea...they're easily contenders if they add one of those guys.

                              And i'm telling you with the pitching they have right now, they wouldn't be.

                              Fielder is leaving, i'm convinced he is, and i'm convinced Pujols will stay a Cardinal. So for the sake of my (most likely wrong) logic, The Cubs get Fielder. You are saying the Cubs go from a 70 win team to a 87-90 win team with Fielder?
