Sony has confirmed that they have chosen a new director for the Spiderman reboot movie that is slated for release in 2012. Marc Webb will be the new director for the Spiderman movie franchise. He directed (500) Days of Summer and will make $10 million for this movie.
With the exception of a few comic book franchises (The Incredible Hulk and Batman Begins), it has never turned out good when a new director is chosen. Look at how bad Blade 3, X-Men 3, and Mummy 3 were because the old director left.
