Marvel's been teasing the reveal of "Alpha" for quite some time now, and it seems that we'll finally meet him in The Amazing Spider-Man #692. To celebrate Spidey's 50th anniversary, Dan Slott and Humberto Ramos are gifting Peter Parker with something of a sidekick.
In an interview with Fox News, Marvel revealed that a teenager named Andy Macguire will undergo a conspicuously familiar chain of events when he visits Peter's workplace -- Horizon Labs -- on a field trip. When one of Peter's experiments goes awry, Andy is zapped with some pretty miraculous new abilities. Feeling responsible for the teen's changes, Peter takes him under his wing to help him learn about his powers.
