    KFC Runs DNA Test on Alleged ‘Deep Fried Rat’ – Guess What They Found

    KFC Runs DNA Test on Alleged ‘Deep Fried Rat’ – Guess What They Found]Last week the Internet recoiled in horror when a man in California posted a video of what appeared to be a deep-fried rat that had been served to him at a local KFC. However, it seems that KFC got hold of this alleged rodent and ran some DNA tests on it and found that it really was just a piece of chicken that happened to be oddly rat-shaped.

    KFC tells ABC News that last week “the customer’s attorney turned over the product in question for testing at an independent lab, and the results officially confirmed what KFC knew all along — the product was chicken and not a rat as he claimed.”

    Just because KFC has been cleared of serving up a deep-fried rat doesn’t mean it’s innocent of all crimes against human health, or course — let’s not forget this is the same company that came up with the utterly revolting Double Down Dog, which needs no rats embedded inside to be disgusting.

    Is it a fried rat? L.A. man claims KFC served him breaded rat; KFC says no way - LA Times

    A Los Angeles man ordered fried chicken from a KFC restaurant in Willowbook but instead got a plate of crispy, breaded fried rat, he claims.

    Devorise Dixon posted a photo of what he claims is a fried rat on Facebook on Friday, and it has since gone viral. The photo shows a large breaded piece attached to a longer string of fried breading, which could be interpreted to be a rat’s tail.

    <img itemprop="image" data-baseurl="http://www.trbimg.com/img-5581b0e7/turbine/la-me-ln-is-it-a-fried-rat-l-a-man-claims-kfc--001" alt="Man claims he got served fried rat at KFC" class="trb_embed_imageContainer_img" title="Man claims he got served fried rat at KFC" data-content-naturalwidth="1433" data-content-naturalheight="806" data-ratio="16x9" data-width="750" data-height="450" src="http://www.trbimg.com/img-5581b0e7/turbine/la-me-ln-is-it-a-fried-rat-l-a-man-claims-kfc--001/750/750x422">

    Dixon wrote that he returned to the KFC at Wilmington Avenue and 120th Street and the manager told him it was a rat. He said she apologized.

    “Be safe. Don’t eat fast food!!!” he wrote, adding he plans to retain an attorney.

    But KFC says Dixon’s claim is a hoax.

    His photographs, they say, don’t include a second angle, which “clearly shows it’s a piece of hand-breaded white meat chicken.”

    “Based on this, and the fact that he refuses to allow anyone to see the product, we are left to believe that he intended to deceive the public with this hoax and we are considering all options,” KFC said in a statement.

    The company provided a photograph of the second angle that shows a bite was taken from the chicken, exposing white meat.

    The fast food eatery says it has tried contacting Dixon, but he refused to cooperate with their investigation.

    Dixon said he knows what he bit into.

    “Honestly, it doesn’t matter what others think I know what I bit into and what it looks like never in life have .. seen a chicken strip with a long tail,” he wrote.
