Awards
Ryan Miller (USA) was named the most valuable player and received the Directorate Award for best goaltender of the tournament. Directorate Awards also went to Brian Rafalski (USA) for best defenceman, and to Jonathan Toews (Canada)for best forward.

The tournament all-star team was voted on by the international media at the conclusion of the event. The following players were named

USA looks pretty good in the game today.. They are giving up a lot of scoring chances but Miller is playin pretty good and it's been a very physical game.. If only the Devils had the talent around Parise he has out there now.. He's gonna come back and want to play on the USA team all year!
