The UFC announced today that it is merging with World Extreme Cagefighting. WEC has 2 more PPVs this year and come January 2011, all their fighters will be part of the UFC. WEC mainly focuses on the Bantamweight and Featherweight divisions, while also having their own Lightweight division. Some of their best and most exciting fighters that not many people know of are "The California Kid" Urijah Faber, Jose Aldo, Mike Brown, Miguel Torres, Brian Bowles, Dominick Cruz, Ben Henderson, Jamie Varner, and Donald Cerrone and Manny Gamburyan. I think this is great news for all MMA fighters. This gives the UFC 2 more divisions and more fighters to headline and fill out their PPV cards. Click on the link below to read more.
