Rob Dyrdek to Perform Car Stunt At Magic Mountain

Sonic is all about adventure. The thrill-seeking small car is taking on a new first and doing a one-of-a-kind stunt with skateboarder Rob Dyrdek. Rob will be launching Sonic off a ramp and spiraling it 360-degrees in the air.

The first 100 attendees will receive a wristband* redeemable post-stunt for a general park admission ticket and access to an autograph session with Rob. The next 400 attendees will receive a wristband* redeemable post-stunt for a general park admission ticket. Gates open at 9 a.m, be sure to pick up your wristband in the parking lot. Then, join us at 11 a.m. to see the stunt. We'll also have a DJ, an interactive vehicle display and custom Sonics on site.

*Admission good for one (1) on 12/17 from the end of the stunt until 6:30 p.m. ARV: $61.99 per wristband. Limit one (1) wristband per person, while supplies last. Wristband is non-transferable and not redeemable for cash.

VALENCIA, Calif. – Chevrolet and Dyrdek Enterprises have partnered to host a live-action stunt in which MTV-reality and action sports-star Rob Dyrdek performs a kick flip—a 360 degree rotation in mid-air—in the all-new 2012 Chevrolet Sonic. Fans and media are invited to attend this odds defying stunt.

At 11 a.m. PT on Saturday, Dec. 17, Rob Dyrdek will transform into his alter-ego “Super Sonic Rob,” and he will attempt a kick flip in a Sonic, much like the tricks he performs on his skateboard. Dyrdek will perform his stunt live for the public at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, Calif.
