Jimmie Johnson won his 6th NASCAR Sprint Cup Series championship tonight at Homestead-Miami, inching ever closer to the all-time record of 7 championships held by Richard Petty and Dale Earnhardt. He finished the season with 6 wins, 16 top-5's, and 24 top-10's in 36 races.
