Tiger Woods is being criticized for the timing of his return. Every decision he does now, he will be watched like a hawk by the media.

Everyone knew that Tiger would return at the Masters not because he is vain but because he wants to WIN another major.

The Masters is the most controlled tournament in respect to the media which will make Tiger's return easier.

I'm surprised that he won't play a tournament before the Masters to deal with all his issues and get the distractions out of the way.

Just like after the whole Kobe incident, everyone in the media will pick at him until he does something to make them forgive him. It took Kobe years to get back into the good graces of the fans, the NBA, and his sponsorship deals. Tiger will get it back one day, but it will just take time.
