Sylvester Stallone Rocky Autographs in 2015 Allen & Ginter
Rocky Balboa is making his way to 2015 Topps Allen & Ginter Baseball. The card maker has announced that the star of the iconic Rocky franchise, Sylvester Stallone, has autographs in the upcoming release.
Sylvester Stallone autographs might be rare, but they aren't new to the hobby. In fact, earlier in the week, the '80s action icon had autographs included in 2015 Panini Americana. He also signed a limited number of original Rocky and Rambo trading cards that were randomly inserted in 2013 Topps 75th Anniversary.
What makes the Sylvester Stallone Allen & Ginter autographs interesting is the direct connection to his most famous character. He's pictured in character and also listed as "Balboa" and not by his real name.

Stallone isn't the only Rocky-themed autograph in 2015 Topps Allen & Ginter Baseball. Hulk Hogan also has a Thunderlips card. A preview image released by Topps shows that it's signed by Hogan as well as inscribed with his character's name.

Two of the Rocky films received their own standalone card sets back at the time of their original releases. 1979 Topps Rocky II has 99 cards and 22 stickers. 1985 Topps Rocky IV is a significantly smaller 66 cards and 11 stickers.
Although not related to Rocky, Stallone's Rocky IV co-star, Dolph Lundgren, has his first certified autograph card in 2015 Rittenhouse James Bond Archives, which is scheduled to release in mid-June.
Will there be even more Rocky autographs on the way? Stay tuned to find out. If you could include one more actor on the list, who would it be?
