Group Break Interest Thread

Hey everyone, looking to run a group break for the members of CCW, am looking for ideas of what you all would prefer to see opened.

Can do breaks via teams or draft style, whatever the majority would prefer.

Give me some ideas!

A Draft style like we have been doing on a Box of Topps Hert.
What would be a cool box to get something nice out of.

Topps Allen and Ginter is coming out in July I believe...exciting! I've never been a part of a group break...very curious.

I busted a couple packs of Topps Heritage, and very cool set.

I like the Triple Threads Or the Bowman Sterling. They are a little too pricy but the cards are nice.

2011 Bowman I just purchased a Jumbo case from LCS for 100 less then Blow Out cards.

Great product.

I think draft style and maybe a mix of a few different products on the medium to high end would be great

Dan, long time buddy...glad to think we might be breaking together again....

Unfortunately, there just aren't very many break-friendly products out there right now....

I think it would be fun to do a Historic Autos Legends of the Hall case break, draft style, of course...it would be a fun gamble because the worst thing that would happen would be the same as if you bought your own box (if that makes sense!)...$80 for the chance at your pick of the case...might be a little cher but you only need 10 people...

Gypsy Queen might be a good product, but the price on that stuff has also gone up significantly in the last 7-10 days, might be better to wait until its out for a while and hope the price falls again...

Whatever you decide, I'll take a spot...

I would take a spot in a group break. Draft style is fair and the way to go.
As far as what we open, I would go with the consensus

Opinions on 2011 Bowman Baseball?

12 Autos per box, we could do a draft style (12 spots, so everyone gets atleast 1 auto on average, obviously a refractor of Harper would get taken before a common Auto) the cost shipped would be betweeen $70-$75 though, possibly lower depending on the price I could get.

Or a team break 15 slots (2 teams per person, first one you choose, second one is random, Nationals would be random automatically since its far and away the best team to have) and that'd be $60 per slot.

Any opinions? I was looking at other cases and none seemed to thrilling other than some of the presale items. If we had enough interest on Bowman, I could lock down the case right now to make sure we get it at the current price.
