2011 Leaf Ink Baseball

Does anyone have a review of this product? I just bought a box and I'm trying to decide if I should open it or sell it on eBay for a profit (if a profit can be had).

It's hard to find breaks and reviews, but it seems like the boxes are very hit or miss. Any opinions?

i personally have never opened a box of this stuff but really like it. with only 110 cases made, there's a pretty good chance you can pull a 1/1 cut of babe ruth, lou gehrig, ted williams, etc. so i say bust it because it will be a lot more fun than selling it to prob make like a $5-$10 profit, if that lol

Rip it. Better than making the $15 on Ebay only to see the person who bought it from you selling the Ruth cut auto that was in the box.

I succumb to my curiosity and opened the box. MEH!

The 5 slabbed autographs were:

Very disappointed with the contents. By my estimation, I could probably recover about $30 (after eBay fees) of the $135 cost of the box. So what did I do? I bought another box. I had to pay $5 more because either supply went down or demand went up. Oh well.

I have no complaints about the quality of the cards or of the sigs themselves. Unfortunately, I can't upload pictures at the moment.

Who votes I open it and who votes I hold it? I do believe the price will go up on short supply alone (1200 cases shipped). The potential highs for this set are VERY high, but the many potential lows are quite low from what I've seen.

I'd love to trade it. But I have no experience with trading, so I wouldn't know what to ask for. How does it usually work?

He is wearing an Orioles uni. The high BV of the basic card is $10 (w/o auto). The condition isn't very good. I'll post pictures soon.

PS. I haven't opened the box yet. I'm still debating.

So far as trading, usually the parties involved try to get the total bv's on each end to be similar. That's why I asked about its bv. Also, I asked about who/what you'd be interested in trading for so I could see if I have any. Then I'd be able to make an offer,send you a list of what I have available for trade, or if I don't have any to offer to let you know. Once a trade is worked out, it is posted at "trade manager" and confirmed. Since you're a "rookie' you'd have to send first.

I hope this helps with your "?" about trading. Hope we can get a deal worked out.

Alright, well I'm interested in Green Bay Packers. If you don't have football cards, I'm usually a prospector and collector of specific players. Big on Matt Moore right now. Some other Rays players too.

I only collect baseball. I do have a little football, but most are base of Redskins. Also, the ONLY football gu & auto's I have are of Redskins. If you want to check out what gu & auto's I have of them I have a thread in the football marketplace forum. So far as baseball, what team(s)/player(s) would you be interested in in addition to Rays?

Alright, let's see. I like Ken Griffey Jr., Randy Johnson, James Shields, Jeff Bagwell, Chipper Jones, Roy Halladay, Albert Pujols, Tim Lincecum, Mariano Rivera.

It's hard to pin down specific players, but those are a few of the highest on my list. As far as teams, I can't really say I'm interested in any one team other than the Rays. I usually target specific players rather than teams.
