Thanks for the bv's. Just a few "?'s" --- Is the Mel Ott from 2007 SWEET SPOT CLASSIC MEM. ? It looks like the Dizzy Dean I have from that set. If so, according to the 2012 JUNE BASEBALL BECKETT its bv is 30. Also, on the Frisch/Snider is the gu of Frisch or Snider ?

The G/U is of Snider and the Ott got traded away today towards a Red Grange G/U. The guy I traded with had an older Beckett and he looked it up at 80 also. Maybe it has gone down.

Okay, how about this - my Buck O'Neil auto for your gu's of Ripken,Berra,Musial, and either Vaughn or Klein ??? If that is okay, please post it at trade manager (I'll confirm). If not okay, feel free to make another offer.

Also, I checked back issues of the monthly baseball Beckett. The Ott was booked at 80 through the April issue. However, in the May it took a BIG dip down to 30 (and stayed at 30 in the June issue). I've never seen a drop that BIG from one issue(April) to the next(May).

I actually recently picked up a card with you in mind. It came in the mail today:

I was hoping to use it towards the O'Neil if it came to my turn. Is this something you would be interested in? I would be willing to package it with a 2011 Bowman Platinum Manny Machado refractor autograph bv 25.00.

Dave, thanks for the reply. Nice "O's" cards. However, forr now, I'll pass on the offer of the triple gu and Machado auto. I'll become interested in Machado probably if/when he makes it to the "bigs". I tried collecting, a while back, a player who was the 34th overall pick and he NEVER made the "bigs"(and I still have his cards) and NO LONGER plays(at any level). So, I'll wait until then (unless I get an offer that is impossible to turn down). So far as the triple gu, I'd like to try to trade something else for it (instead of a $60 auto). Do you have any other offer(s)? Thanks.

Rodney, I could offer up the Carlton patch/auto. Only problem is Beckett doesnt list it in the book. I paid 35.00 for it if that helps any. If youd like to do that, I would do that.

As for the triple patch, If you want to put together a list of cards that are in the same general range, I would be happy to look at it. Tomorrow that is, as I am heading off to bed very soon. Have a good evening. Dave
