Hey everyone! I'm currently running my blog's first group case break. I've done plenty of group box breaks before, but this is my first time busting into an entire case. Here’s the basic low-down of what’s going to happen. We’ll be doing the group break of a case of ’13 Topps S1 Jumbo at Crackin' Wax. Five of the six boxes will be distributed to the group. The final box will be raffled off to a lucky winner. One raffle slot per purchased group break team slot will be given for free. Additional slots can be requested for a donation of $5 each. The general public will be able to request raffle slots after all of the group break team slots have been filled. All raffle money will be donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation–I will NOT be keeping the raffle money! I also offer half slots, optional dupe sharing (called Community Dupes), a loyalty discount and a skunk rule.

UPDATE (1/21/13):
We did it! All team slots for my first ever upcoming case break featuring 2013 Topps Series 1 Baseball have been secured. I am now accepting donations for the Make-A-Wish Foundation that will get you entered to win an entire sealed Jumbo Box from that case! That’s right! With each $5 donation you make, you will be entered for a chance to take home your very own jumbo box of Topps’ newest baseball product. There is no limit to how many donations you can make, and you can make your donations any time from now until 1 full week after the case arrives.
Just think about it. For only five bucks, you could end up with a whole jumbo box of brand new baseball cards AND you’d be doing an amazing thing by donating to a great cause!

UPDATE (1/31/13):
Okay, so, here’s the deal. I wanna bust this case. You want me to bust this case. I’m gonna bust this case. Even though the original plan was to wait… I see no benefit in waiting.
However, here’s the caveat. I will not be able to bust the entire case tonight nor any night UNTIL next Wednesday night. With that in mind, I have reached a decision–a compromise, if you will–I will be breaking 1 box each night at 7pm Central until all five boxes have been emptied. The final box will be randomed off at 7pm Central Thursday February 7 2013.
So, to tidy up the upcoming schedule of events…
BOX 1: Tonight, 7pm Central
BOX 2: Friday, 7pm Central
BOX 3: Saturday, 7pm Central
BOX 4: Sunday, Half-time of Super Bowl
BOX 5: Monday, 7pm Central (sorry, RAW boys)
BOX 6 DRAWING: Thursday Feb 7 2013, 7pm Central
Video replay of each box break will be re-posted for those who are unable to witness the live events.
