I have complete sets of 1987 Donruss, Topps, & Fleer, and 1988 Topps, and 1989 Topps. I don't care about having the complete sets. Shipping costs for these sets makes selling them online not worth it. Should I just pull out the worthwhile cards and throw the rest in the recycle bin? Is there another way?

I just threw out 350.000 commons on Monday from these same sets as I have another 250.000 for Monday.s thrash as well.
These have been sitting in 1000 boxes since I open them and the wax I gave away to a card shop last week as this stuff is junk.
That;s my opinion and can see where u are coming from.
Waste of time waste of room with moving in my near future anyways.
Good luck what ever u decide bud.

The thing I like to do with my mid-late 80's baseball commons is get them autographed through the mail. A lot of players from those years will sign 3 or 4 cards if you mail them to them. I like the 86-91 Fleer cards.Favorite baseball players include: Mike Schmidt, Steve Carlton, Kirby Puckett, Pete Rose, Tyler Colvin Mark Appel

I've purged my 80's extra stuff some time ago.....I took a large amount to a trade day at the local shop, you'd be surprised how happy some kids get with free cards! (as long as they're not too old, and still appreciative.... and dad isnt there to say no thanks!)...lol.Originally posted by sickmantz View PostI have complete sets of 1987 Donruss, Topps, & Fleer, and 1988 Topps, and 1989 Topps. Well I would be interested in any Braves from those sets and would be willing to trade you something back as well. I have two boys, 8 and 5, that collect and they love getting cards in the mail. Let me know if thats something you would consider and we can work something out.

I don't know if they still do it, but in the past some Children's Hospitals would accept them and give them to children there. There are probably some local/state organizations that would accept them and distribute them among kids. Just an idea. Have a good evening.
The main items Im looking to trade for are
Baseball HOFers Autos I need
Orioles Autos I need
Baseball HOFers GU I need
Orioles GU I need
Vintage Orioles I need 1950s through 1970
However other offers will be considered

I'd probably prefer to donate them. I have no idea where to start looking for a place to donate, though. Whatever I do with them, I don't want it to take much more of my time. We had a garage sale a couple weeks ago and I spent a couple of hours reorganizing the sets hoping to sell them then, but no one was interested. My Photobucket (Trade/Sell):
