WTTF: Mark Prior/Kerry Wood

On my 9/29 post here I listed some "graded" RC's I have of Prior & Wood. I have no idea of the bv's of these "graded" cards, but all three are "graded" MINT 9. What, if any, would you want for your Brian Roberts gu cards, Jim Rice gu, & Dan Uggla gu ? PLMK. THANKS.

Hey - I'm actually not all that into graded cards - so I personally generally don't pay a huge premium based on grade. That being said, I'd still be interested in the 2 Priors just to get the cards to add to my Prior collection (I already have the Wood).

Raw, they book at $8.00 and $2.50. I'd be willing to give you the 2 Roberts GUs for them ($8 BV each). I will understand though if you'd rather try to get a better offer from someone more into graded cards.

THANKS for the quick reply. The 2002 Fleer Maximum, in Beckett, books between 10 (commons) & 12 (unlisted stars). Prior is listed as a semistar. How about the two "graded" Priors for both Roberts gu & the Jim Rice gu (it books 8) ? If thats not okay, how about either Roberts gu (your choice) for the 2002 GRANDSTAND Prior? PLMK. THANKS.

I think I'm going to stick with my previous offer.

The Maximum books 8 raw in the online Beckett price guide. If it books 12 graded - that's a 50% "graded" markup.

The Grandstand books 2.50 raw - so using the same 50% graded markup - that's $3.75 - or a total of $15.75 graded BV for both (and that's going with the full $12 on the Maximum).

If you wanted to do one of the Roberts & the Rice instead of both Roberts I could do that, but in light of my comments above, I don't really see myself giving up all 3.

Again, I completely understand if you want to hold out for a better offer.

Again, the online Beckett is different than the magazine Beckett. The 10-12 came from the magazine, not a "graded" bv. THANKS for the quick reply. For now I think I'll keep them. Have a good evening.
