I have two Fendis. wallace is supposedly a semi sp too. I'm not happy to see contenders in retail packs. I think it should be a hobby only product.

That's what I thought too Tim. Guess they're trying to do like they do for Certified. But Certified is usually just a gu'd as the hit. This is first year I've ever seen Contenders.

it does make it easier for the little guy that can not afford $140-150 a box to be able to try contenders

Makes it easier for us out in the sticks too lol. Closest lcs around here is a tiny one that don't have much and it's a little over an hour away. 3-4 hours to get to one in Houston or DFW.

I think Contenders is trying to make all the money they can with economy so low many more people will pay for the retail version
