Here we go!! We’re starting up the CCW Football Team Traders Group!
This is for members who are looking to receive their favorite team's cards while at the same time helping others with their favorite teams! I will be handling the pairings.


Here are a few basic rules.

1. This will be a broken up into a monthly group team trading concept.

2. The minimum number of cards to send per package will be 20, but you are welcomed to go above and beyond.

3. You can send base cards, rookies, and inserts. You can also send autos or game used cards but don’t always expect the same quality of cards in return. Your trading partner should at least attempt the match the quality of the card in the next round. In other words if you send 20 base cards to someone first, don’t expect an Auto or GU in return. What comes around goes around.

4. Please send a PM to your trading partner first and ask him if he wants only players in his team’s uniform, players in past team uniforms, or both. Also ask if they want late 1980s/early 1990s cards in their packages. We don’t want to send out premium cards to only get cheaper cards in return.

5. The way this will work is as follows.
a. Each month we will randomly choose 2 members to be trading partners for that month.
b. Member #1 will send to Member #2 first.
c. Member #2 will send cards back to Member #1. This will help Member #2 get a feel for what to send in return.
d. Repeat each month.

6. Please post all team trading agreements in the trade manager to ensure both parties get their cards. This will also help grow your feedback score.

7. Please post on this thread when you receive your cards and if you get something nice, feel free to show them with some scans.

8. If you have any questions or concerns/problems about a member, please send me a PM.

9. Post below and choose 1 team that you want. Members are free to change or swap teams as long as they are available.

10. Please only sign up for this if you intend to send cards to your trading partner.

I don't expect this to go on "forever", but I'd like to see it run for a while (a year?).

As far as getting out if it's not what you expected, we're encouraging everyone to communicate with the trade partner they have each month to make sure that the trade works out for both parties (#4 in the list of "rules").

Is this going to be similar to the basketball group where you get matched up with one trader a month?

I guess there are a couple of things I have seen in running one of these groups on another site, is that it gets awful hard to find stuff when someone says...

'I collect the Saints, but I only want Drew Brees and Reggie Bush cards.'

Limitations like that make it hard to find stuff honestly. For me, I have cards that start back in the late 90s (yep, those crappy Score cards) all the way up to current 2010 stuff. And I typically mix a lot of different stuff in. Also, I collect anything, and don't care what I get. I love it all. Including dupes of those Score cards. Cuz I can get rid of those here in New England.

The more flexible we all are with what we are cool with receiving, the smoother a group like this will be. I have been in the other one, for I bet 2 plus years, and have gotten a ton of very cool cards over that time. This is a great way to...

1) Increase your PC of your team
2) Decreast your unwanted card collection

I will try it out for a while for sure, and will gladly send first each month. That does not bother me in the least!
