  • Make a Donation = Choose a Card (Low - High End)

    Hey everyone,

This will be my first post on the site and it's going to be a big one! I'm an avid football collector and until today I've been using mainly Blowoutcards. Member Snick103 mentioned to me that I should bring the thread to here also because there are a lot of great members on here.

The guys on blowout helped me raise $1,400 and I'm looking to you guys for some help now.

I'm doing the Ride to Conquer Cancer which is in 2 weeks from now. It is a two day, 300KM ride that's goal is to raise money for cancer research.

I need to raise a minimum of $2,500 in order to participate.

I am a 20 year old full-time student and I've already donated $125 (75 registration fee and 50 donation). If I don't get the full amount then I will need to donate the rest of the amount myself in order to participate (I really want to participate). I don't have anymore funds right now to spend so I am selling off a lot of my cards to raise the money. Each card will have a price and if you make a donation in that amount I will ship you the card.

You will pay Directly to the organization raising the money so I will not see a penny of it.
You can pay by credit card or PAYPAL.

Donate at: The Ride to Conquer Cancer:

Every card is in my bucket.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys.

After the ride, I assure you, I will be a more active trader on this site. For the time being, I would like to raise as much as I can for the fight against cancer even if it means parting with some of my PC.

Even a small donation will go a long way .

          Thanks again guys,
          Neal

I could say the same for you bud, It's nice to see other people doing good things as well.

Do you bike a lot? or the 150 a pretty big jump from your regular rides?

How was your experience brother? Would love to know..

I know I will have around 1000 other bikers going with me so it's going to be an amazing experience.

              Thanks again for the support.

the MS150 is the biggest organized bike ride for charity in the world

14,000+ riders rasied nearly $16 million this year... 150+ miles (closer to 170-180) and yes it was MUCH more than my nomal ride

it was one of the greatest experiences of my life to be honest... amazing time

and just seeing hundreds of people on the road cheering you on and THOUSANDS when we got to our goal on Day 2 was unreal...

IF I get on my bike and dont do 30+ miles I dont even get on... but before the ride the most I have ever done at once was 50-60 miles... it was hard.. but WELL worth it

EAT A LOT and drink a LOT at the end of day 1... your body is gonna burn it like CRAZY

                have fun.. just be careful

also.. I did it on a Treck Hybrid bike LOL just about killed myself lol

I upgraded to a Specialized Roubaix though I kept my wheels (have some great sweet looking Easton's) after the ride and thats what I ride now

it has the Saxo Bank paint scheme , all carbon of course and it feels amazing to ride and the bike takes the "work" out of it...

                    Wow a Roubaix.. That's a nice bike!

Thanks for all the advice, I will certainly eat and drink as much as I possibly can after Day 1!

As I mentioned in the post, I'm only 20 so I can't afford a crazy road bike yet lol.. I do have a Specialized.. I think it's the Secteur but I don't remember exactly. It's a great bike for me. I'm sure once I get one a more serious road bike I'll realize how bad it is but until then it works for me .

All I know is I'm going to be sore as hell the Monday I go to work.

Thanks again for the support friend.
