Nameplate for son.....

I want to make a framed nameplate for my son. His favorite sport is Football so wanted see what was available from you guys. Im just getting started so I dont have ANY letters yet.

Let me know if you have any baseball letter patches too....i think im headed in the baseball patch direction, as you can see by the update below....lol

I still need the letters in black:

S K Y L E R S ........ R O O M

Peferably autos, cause it'll just look cooler.

His favorite team is the Saints (and yes, he is very sad to see them in the news so much recently)...lol. But he has stuck by them so far. So, having one or two Saints letters as part of the plate would be ideal...but not 100% necessary. Im not looking for star players or anything (those will cost too much), so Joe Blow and Anyteam will do....condition is not an issue either, as long as your dog hasnt gotten ahold if it.

I am also considering a basketball name plate if not enough ftbll letters are available.

Well, I come to the CCW community 1st to see what is available....lets see what you guys and gals have!!

....obviously i've ventured into creating a baseball nameplate cause baseball letter patches are much easier to come by....and for allot cheaper too!......lol

Very cool. All I passed down to my son was how to write his name in the snow in yellow letters. Sometimes it was awkward and embarrassing (church) but it sure made me proud to be a father.

I'm totally kidding of course.

I found the same prob with trying to do all football .I am just going to try and get letters then upgrade when i have the cash .Nice start to the nameplate.

Just picked up a "K" today...



.....this going so smoothly, I thing I'm going to add "ROOM" to his nameplate also.

So, bring on those baseball letter patch autos.....see my original post above for letters needed.

Thx, but I've changed my mind as far as the sport of the nameplate. The baseball letter autos are so much more easier to come by and for cheaper. I will keep you in mind though in case I slowly try to build a football nameplate too. Especially since thats a Saints letter card! thats exactly what I was initially going to look for...but was finding that most Saints letter cards online were of Reggie Bush, or Brees and were going for $150 +. If we work out a trade soon, maybe we can work that card in, just so I have for the future. What does it book for?....to bad the auto is bleeding so much, that sucks!

Sucks the "K" is a Yankee, but it was cheap so ohwell.....maybe I'll replace it if I find ANY other team to replace it......lol

Yes, It appears my posting has evolved into a baseball thread, sorry. My initial intentions was for a football nameplate, but like Ive mentioned above, baseball will be easier/cheaper to build.

I'm definetly still open to buy/trade for football letters though......in case anyone still has football letters to offer, like moose did above.

Feel free to move the thread if you see fit, no harm, no foul.
