We're going to try something a little different. I will be collecting your unwanted cards and posting a list of what is received. As the cards are posted, they will be available to be claimed on a first come, first serve basis. If you claim a card, you must send a sase or enough money to cover shipping charges back to you. You will be allowed to make multiple claims, but do not be greedy.

For example:

I have a random Joe Montana card and donate it to the stash. Once it is posted, the first person to claim it on the thread will be awarded the card. He/she will then have to send a sase for shipping.

Anyone can donate cards and anyone can claim the cards. This will be meant to help others with their collections and maybe find something for themselves along the way.

Responses and activity will determine the length of this activity. Feel free to add to the stash!



I'll add more today. I ran out of time. I can hold the cards that are claimed, if you want to wait for a larger package. Multiple claims are allowed, but do please leave some for others. Team lot claims are allowed, as well.

Does it matter what type of card it is? Such as is it a common card or a card of a star player.

I would think it would need to be a slightly better card since it would have to be worth someone sending two stamps for (one for the envelope there and one for the SASE).

You can also send multiple cards and wait to have your claimed cards accumulate. We just didn't want someone to claim all or most of the cards at one time, where others wouldn't have a chance. This could lessen postage costs.

Feel free to send a bubble mailer label. For those of you who may claim multiple cards and/or team lots, this may be a better option for you.

I just sent you a few to get you started. Maybe later I will send a bigger package. Maybe we could also let people know if we collect a certain player that might be under the radar. For example, I went to college with Daunte Culpepper and I collect his cards as well as Mike Alstott has always been a favorite even though his cards don't hold as much value.
