09 SP Authentic (UD Stinks!!)

I went to whatsonsecond today and he had one box left of SPA so I decided to get it. I did one last week and pulled AUs of Jarrett Dillard, Malcolm Jenkins, and Stephen McGee Patch AU. That box was great compared to this crap. Here's what I got:

No Patch AU (surprise, surprise) THis always happens with SPA FB. I was so ticked that I called upper deck on the spot and put them on speaker phone for the shop owner and all the customers to hear. After being on hold for 15 min, someone finally came on and I explained what happend. He took my information and then told me to send in the UPC and Hologram. I also expressed how it was frustrating that this happens every year in a very nice way and he got extremely defensive and rude and told me just to send them in and hung up on me.

IM DONE WITH UPPER DECK! I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER PRODUCT THAT THEY PRODUCE! THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE! I'M STICKING WITH COMPANIES THAT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS LIKE PANINI!

Sent you a pm Leland, I was not thrilled with UD this year either, quality has dropped bad for their products.

I totally understand your fellings. But aside from their poor customer service on the phone and their poor seeding of stated odds, I'd say in the very least that its good that you will be getting the missing hit after all. Its just unfortunate to be treated that way as a customer, and that I completely understand. Please keep us informed as to what they end up sending you.

That's a bummer Leland and I feel your pain. I have had that happen the last 3 years with SPA boxes. I did get one in my box a week ago, but it had me sweating until the 23rd pack.

And just think, they are dropping Topps from football and letting UD continue to make football cards. What a waste.
