2014 Score

Anybody bought this yet? Picked up a blaster a couple of days ago. Unfortunately, they must have dropped my box at some point, because every card had a tiny ding, even the thick gu'd that I got. Other than that, this is probably the nicest looking card and inserts that I have ever seen from Score. The Hot Rookies are very cool looking.

We bought 9 hobby boxes so far, I really like the design this year on the inserts. Plus, with all the different inserts available this year, it's make breaking packs with the kids fun while not having to break the bank. My one complaint is no hits in the hobby boxes, just retail this year. Kinda blows, but I guess it's fair to the retail buyers.

We also have 6 boxes of the Hot Rookies coming when they are released next week, so that is where our hits will come since you are guaranteed autos in there. Maybe pull some Clowney, Manziel, and Bortles to make up for the lack of hobby hits!

Overall for the price, I feel it's a fun break, especially for the kids. Lots of inserts and different variation inserts for the boys to collect of their favorite players which is part of the fun. My other complaint would be the Air Mail cards, especially the blue version seem to chip on the bottom very easily. My son pulled 2 Russell Wilson color variations of these, and both are chipping badly. Almost looks like the metallic laminate isn't sticking to the cardboard properly. He was disappointed since Russell is his guy.

We would be interested in trading Score for Score depending on what someone is looking for. We are mostly looking for Packers, Seahawks, Panthers, and ex-Badger guys. Sure seems like there are a lot of Seahawk cards this year! Guess that happens when you win the super bowl and have a large following on the fan side.

If you have an account with panini you can submit a case with them. You will need receipt and wrapper.

I did two of the 24 ct boxes. I like these quite a bit. I only had one JSY, I was told those are supposed to have one hit per box.

3bucks - just love the colors, so much more lively than prior issues. Another big difference is now there are 3 rc's/pack, instead of 1. However, the box I am opening right now has 6 rc's/pack.

all - receipt and wrappers are gone. Did buy 2 more blasters (different WalMart). Can always use the receipt and wrappers from them.

Hey Rob, I busted 3 boxes of this so far, they were the blasters. I agree that the inserts are great, I am thinking of building all of the insert sets with it. What all did you get with yours? what was your hit?

2 of the boxes I got from WalMart had 6 rc's/pack instead of 3. So I have at least completed the rookie portion of the set. Last year the only insert set was Hot Rookies and it increased to 50 and having so few I didn't do it. Back to multiple insert sets this year. Undecided, have to be patient. Wish the Hot Rookies was only 30. Most of the ones I have so far I have never heard of (how can they be HOT).

Haha Rob, I would have to agree, Hot Rookies should be the top 20-25 rookies that people really want, I don't consider 5th rounder AJ McCarron to be a hot rookie. I will bust a few more boxes and see where I am at, If I can buy a group of inserts cheap I may go that route, and I have tons and tons of chrome from last year to trade as I am still buying chrome blasters here and there.

These insert sets might be a b!tch. Out of 6 boxes I had 6 franchises, 2 duplicates, all of them different colors. Unless you build the set regardless of color, this could be tough.

On another note, how you like this one George? Pulled from box 6 (1st auto).
Didn't realize he had a rookie season worth of a 2nd year auto.
