Is this stamped out of 10 on the card? If not I don't think it is, as I've had 3 of these myself at different times, and have seen many others (way more than 20 in buckets, at shows, and on ebay. TomR will most likely be interested shoot him a PM, Guy!

I am little confused what the card really is according to the listings in the On Line Beckett....

          here are the four listings

          Be A Player #216 Jordan Staal RCRCSN 999 $30.00
          Be A Player Signatures 25 #216 Jordan StaalAUSN 25 $100.00
          Be A Player Signatures 10 #216 Jordan StaalAUSN 10 n/a
          Be A Player Autographs #216 Jordan StaalAU 10 n/a

so what card is it...if you know

because it can't be the first one...because it is an auto and not serial #d out of /999

can't be the second one ...because there is no serial #

and can't be the 3rd one ..because no serial #

so it must be the 4th listing

          lmk your thoughts

Guy, it's neither of those. I had this discussion with Al Muir of Panini back when he worked at Becket, and these cards were never added to the book, or acknowledged by Beckett. Doesn't surprise me the way they don't care about stuff like this. There are several guys with autos like this besides Staal. Kessel, Weber also have them, plus a few others. They are not rare, and to be honest fairly plentiful to obtain. If I had to guess, you could easily buy a Staal auto like this for between $10-$15 ($15 being way high). I actually have a BGS graded 9.5 gem mint Staal in my PC. Think I paid $30, or a bit less for it back in the day.

I'm still interested. I don't have a current bucket but let me know what you like and I will see if I have anything.
