id say no- most of the time, if an address is over a year old, unless i see successes with it, i dont send

Well depends on who it is. Remember most of these retired guys arent moving from place to place and sometimes dont get alot of fan mail. Either that or people arent always posting thier successes on there.

went through the Divers list today- only found a couple websites, but emailed the athletes from that section- main swimmers section tomorrow...

also got a reply from Chip Knight, indicating that he would happily send a card if I sent a SASE- which I did today- posted his address in the address forum

im not surprised really- most athletes dont keep up websites when their events arent prominent- which is why ive managed to find tons of winter sports athletes (Vancouver Olympics are 2 months away) as opposed to summer athletes, who dont have the web traffic or sponsorship deals this many years away from the next summer games...
