I received a package from my best friend from grade school (shout out to Mayall Street Elementary School in Los Angeles, lol). We used to swap cards as little kids all the time. He'd get my Kirby Puckett's, Cal Ripken's, and Tony Gwynn's and I'd get his Nolan Ryan's, George Brett's, and Ozzie Smith's. Well after a 20 year trading hiatus I received this amazing package....

I was fortunate enough to be chatting with Brad on Yahoo! Messenger when he decided to do a "live" opening of the package.

Brad was like a little kid on Christmas Day......and I have to confess I was just as shocked when he pulled out the Griffey Game-Day Line-Up Autograph and then the BIG surprise, the Ozzie Smith #1/25 Autograph.

Congrats buddy! Kevin must surely be a true friend from grade school.

I second that....some of my best memories. I still remember that camping trip we went on....sitting in that camper going through cards...like it was yesterday. I remember your mom being into Wilson Phillips....HAHA. That was the first time I ever saw snow! Good times....really good times.

Ahhhh yes, the Yellow Chevy Truck with the White Stripe and that Camper on top. And the coolest part was how at every gas station they had $0.25 packs of 1986, 1987, and 1988 Topps, Fleer, and Donruss packs. So every fill up we'd get another couple packs to play with. Those were the days! And yes, I remember mom listening to Wilson Phillips too. LOL. She probably still does
