Question about Mailing?

Was wondering if anyone else has sent out a package with a delivery confirmation number and it has gotten lost? I sent out a package on the May 16 and it was to be delivered the 18th and when i checked the number it was still at the same facility I sent it from 6 days later. any suggestions?

that has happened to me . there isnt anything u can do about it . i usually wait until it shows up .

I've actually had this happen before, what i'd suggest is checking the DC# and calling the post office where it was last at, and tell them about it, what they'll do is check the sorting machine as it may be stuck in that..

Yep, happened a few times to me, further proving the point that DC is in fact worthless.

Sometimes the post office may forget to scan the package when they deliver it so it still shows it was at the last scan. I once got a package and the seller asked me if I got it since the DC on the USPS website said it was still at the post office.

Thanks guys. The person actually got it in a special clear pkg saying the package was damaged in transit. Fortunately none of the items were hurt, but i am going to evaluate how I send things now.
