  • Our share of the case break from 2011 Topps Baseball

So we told you about the case breaks going on at A Cardboard Problem and the great opportunity to get in on them. The Jumbos have been opened and all the hits from their two case breaks are up on their site. So if you want to see what kind of hits a case can yield, use these links, Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3, to check out the complete results for yourself. You can also follow this link to see the full, unedited videos of the Blog Case Break and the Facebook Case Break.

We bought 2 teams from their Facebook Case Break, the Baltimore Orioles and the San Francisco Giants at $24 each. Here is what we got.

Let us start with the Orioles.

A Cal Ripken Jr Leather Nameplate

    Mark Reynolds Sparkle Card

    Eddie Murray Legends SP

Michael Gonzalez Gold Border Card #/2011

Justin Duchscherer and Zach Britton Platinum Diamond Anniversary Cards

2 Frank Robinson, 2 Brooks Robinson, Eddie Murray, Jim Palmer and Cal Ripken Jr.
    Kimball Champions

Cal Ripken Jr. and Eddie Murray 60 Years of Topps

And, of course, we got a case worth, probably between 5 and 7 full team sets plus singles, of Orioles base cards. Now lets look at the Giants.

    Andres Torres Topps 60 Autograph

Juan Marichal Black Leather Nameplate #/99

Tim Lincecum, Buster Posey, Madison Baumgardner and Matt Cain
    Gold Border Cards #/2011

Mel Ott, Willie McCovey and Juan Marichal Kimball Champions

    Buster Posey Diamond Stars

    Mel Ott Topps 60

2 Christy Mathewson and 2 Mel Ott Before There Was Topps

3 Tim Lincecum - Brian Wilson and a Buster Posey - Naftali Feliz Diamond Duos

2 Orlando Cepeda, 2 Gaylord Perry and a Buster Posey 60 Years of Topps

And a case worth, probably between 5 and 7 full team sets plus singles, of Giants base cards.

Thanks to the Card Bandits for taking on the task of this break. If you don't already, you should be making A Cardboard Problem a part of you daily read. It's a great site.

So what do you think of our results? Let us know in the comments below.
