    Blaster box results....

    I'll pick up blaster boxes from Target, and Wally World on occassion, and usually im greatly disapointed with nuthin but base cards.

    Last Friday, I picked up a blaster of 2012 Gypsy Queen cause I've liked the look ever since seein the review here:

    Got a couple Dback base cards...always a plus Chris Young and Miguel Montero

    This was weird....one random damaged card...it was a Jimmy Rollins...see the dinged corner?



    ....and the hit...which I never get in Blasters......



    A Dennis Eckersley auto!!!!


    Needless to say, I was stoked!!!!

    I guess my excitement for blasters continues, they are fun to open and are reasonably priced. Its an easy out for those of us who cant throw down $120 to open a hobby box.

    Is 2012 Gypsy in the new Beckett?? Can anyone let me know what the Eck books at? On Ebay, Im seeing buy it now auctions at $30, $50 and $75.........which is it?? .....lol

            Nice hit on Eckersley!

            Congrats,
            its always nice to pull a decent hit from retail.
            Still collecting Frank Thomas in any uni and HoFer G/U & Auto's.

            I do not trade nor buy at "eBay values", unless a card is so rare that it is unlisted.

              Awesome Eck Auto!

              I can use any Red Sox if they are up FT. LMK. I opened up a box, and I can check for DBacks in there. Or I am sure I have some others for ya. LMK. Thanks.

              Collecting any Boston Sports (base,insert,GU,Auto) All Teams (Red Sox,Celtics,Patriots,Bruins)
              Also collect UNH Football/Hockey cards
              Also now collecting any cards including all dupes of all the following :
              MLB : Brian Wilson (Giants, Dodgers), Chris Carpenter (Blue Jays, Cardinals), Sam Fuld (Rays), Mike Flanagan (Orioles, Blue Jays), Phil Plantier (Padres, Red Sox), Jeff Locke (Pirates)

              I unfortunately can no longer afford to trade outside the US. Even rates to Canada are way too high now!

                  Thx! I've always like Eckersley too....that CraZy sidearm, just like I used to in little league. I grew out of it eventually, but it sure worked for me at a younger age. Probably just threw off most batters!...lol
