The guy had 2 boxes left from a case and the rip card hadn't been pulled! Well, after my box it still hadnt been pulled. Just my luck. I am sorting as I write this so please be patient.
I pulled 2 PC cards. Yes only 2. The first pc card was a Jim Thome a&g back mini but this one is special as it is un-numbered. That is a great pull for a Thome collector like myself.
The first two "hits" were blah in my opinion.They were an umpires autograph (Denkinger) and a Red sweater gu card of Bobby Knight. Next to last pack held a mini gu bat piece of some guy named Tyrus Raymond Cobb! So, I only had two hits that excited me but im not complaining.
Heres an interesting question. I redeemed a 2012 Topps golden greats relic of Ty Cobb /10 that is still on backorder. Why would a later product have A Ty Cobb bat relic packed out in the product? My immagination is running wild with this one. Could the relic /10 that Im waiting for be a patch card from a 100 year old jersey? Stay tuned for that one folks!!
