Well, it had been 14 years of not opening a baseball card pack. A week ago I was in Target and saw some baseball card packs. I buy two packs just for fun. However, after opening those two packs I found myself hooked again. When I say hooked I mean really hooked. Within a week I have bought a 1996 Topps Laser Series 2 HB, 1990 Donruss HB, 1991 Donruss HB, 2013 Topps Series 1 HB, 2013 Topps Series 2 HB, 2013 Bowman DP&P Orioles Team Group Break, 2013 Bowman Sterling 2x Diamondbacks Team Group Break, and 2013 Bowman Sterling 1x Random Team Group Break. Wow, after writing that I need to slow down. This is a thread about my journey back into the hobby that I loved so much as a kid...

Well, overall I tripled the amount of money that I paid for the blast from the past HB.

Well, it was mail day and I received some of my cards from the original post. Overall not bad. Here is how it went...

I purchased 1990 and 1991 Donruss Hobby Boxes for very cheap. I know these are not high end cards but I was hoping to pull an Elite out of the 1991.



Well...... Unfortunately, there were no special pulls from these boxes.

Luckily, I received my cards from a 2 box 2013 Bowman DP&P break.

Yes I am. However, I do not just buy Orioles breaks. I find the bang for the buck. I won an auction for the Orioles team spot in a group break for $20.

I bid the O's in breaks and have had some great luck lately. I did pull some Oriole auto out of that Bowman product the other day.

Yes, I am still contemplating the Dylan Bundy auto that you have.

I have some more breaks that should be coming to be soon. I got quite a few DBack autos in a '13 Bowman Sterling random team break last week.
