Junk Wax Years

What years are considered junk wax? Is it all cards from the 1980's & 1990's?
Are the Traded or Update sets that Topps and Fleer put out every year considered Junk wax?

I would personally say that the junk years people consider are 1987-1992 for the most part. Mostly because of the over production of the cards back then.

I agree with these years. Before 1986 can almost be considered vintage

Yeah, those years for sure are what people call junk wax. But, I mean, at some point you would think those would be vintage.
