Closing out the MLB's flagship card series, the 2021 Topps Update Baseball variations also act as the third batch of short-printed base cards.
As the Retail formats showed up ahead of Hobby/Jumbo, these offered the earliest look at the variations. In Retail packs, the Base Short Print (SP) cards fall 1:55 packs and the Base Super Short Prints (SSP) average 1:1,100 packs.
Not yet confirmed for 2021 Update, there is also a third tier that is typically found. These are the rarest short prints and are known as Ultra Short Print (USP) or Super SSP (SSSP) cards.
