So, I am currently working on a couple of Jed Lowrie nameplates. Why you ask? Who the hell knows. But I am working on them, and I have a question, and was curious if anyone might know the answer.
So, one of the Nameplates is from 2009 UD Icons Letterman. The full thing is supposed to spell out 'JED LOWRIE'. Here is my question...
I have this card...
<a data-flickr-embed="true" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/139623482@N06/25513156244/in/album-72157664280093249/" title="09 Letterman 5 (/50)"><img src="https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1471/25513156244_4f77d4c9cf_z.jpg" width="376" height="524" alt="09 Letterman 5 (/50)"></a><script async src="//embedr.flickr.com/assets/client-code.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
What I don't know is if this is an 'O' or a 'D'. The card number has LO on all of them, so I don't know how to tell the difference between those two letters. With the panel covering up the top left of the letter, I don't know if it is angled or if it is squared off. Other than pulling the card apart.
So, with that said, what would you do if you saw another one that looked just like this one online for sale? Would you buy it and just say hey I have the O and the D? Does anyone know of any other way to tell the difference?
Thanks for any help!
