Rookie Flashback: 2008-09 Bowman Russell Westbrook
Russell Westbrook is a player who has far exceeded my expectations for him. When he entered the draft out of UCLA, I really did not foresee him performing as well as he has. Westbrook is averaging 22.6 points/game and 8.5 assists/game this year. Even more impressive is that he has seen his averages in assists and points rise every year he has been in the league. That is one reason I believe him to be a great investment.
As for the card itself, it's your standard Bowman base rookie. I myself am not a huge fan of bowman basketball, simply because it seems too generic. The white border of this card is the only thing that separated the rookies of this set from the dull old base cards.
