I have been looking for this card for over 10 years. They usually only show up on EBAY 2-3 times a year, but most of them have dings or scratches on the surface. 10 years ago, I had a chance to buy this card when it was worth $120 and the Gold Medallion version worth $60 for $120 Buy It Now for both cards. That was a steal since I could have sold the Gold Medallion for $50, but I didnt do it because there was no picture of the cards and the seller was new and had no feedback.
Fast forward to this past weekend. A reputable seller had one listed and I offered him a good deal which he accepted. Even though the card is only worth $150, it has been selling for $170-200 and is extremely hard to find now since they only made 500. This is the real Lucky 13 Rookie, not the fake Hummer Rookie that sellers are stupidly passing for the Lucky 13 RC.
I paid $175 for it shipped. My friend helped me out and bought a $80 Target gift card from me for $70. So essentially I only paid $105 out of my own pocket for this. I am very happy that I finally got this card. This is the most I have ever spend on one single basketball card.
