  • 2010 Topps Football Hobby Box Break

Yesterday the hobby box that I won from Sports Card Kids came in. I'm really focused on finishing this set right now, so a free box of cards couldn't have come at a better time. I already did a review of 2010 Topps, so I'll skip that today and just share some of the highlights with you guys.

There's 50 cards in the 75th Draft set. I still have a looong way to go.

I have a pretty good chunk of the '52 Bowman set done. I think this is my favorite insert this year.

I'm down to just 4 cards in the Gridiron Lineage set.

A few more rookie reprints. I'm almost done with that set, too. I need to find doubles for 3 of these cards to add to my PC binder. Or I can just get the originals, I guess.

I guess there's only one of these Ring of Honor cards in the set, so that one's complete!

Here are the Golds. I don't collect any of these guys, so there all up for trade. Along with this guy:

A black bordered Glen Coffee #'d to 55. I guess that this was the biggest "hit" of the box as there wasn't a relic to autograph to be found anywhere. The box says I'm entitled to one, but what am I really going to do? I got the box for free, after all. I'm just happy that my set is very close to being complete. I'll put up my want list tomorrow. This was the first "current" box that I've ever opened, so that was fun. I also found that listening to Isis while opening cards adds to the excitement. I think they will be my official box busting music in the future. Is it normal to have a soundtrack for opening cards?

I just want to thank Jeremy at Sports Card Kids again for sending this my way. I put a link to his site over in the side bar, so please, head on over there.
