I was staring real hard at a blaster of Prestige basketball, with John Wall on the cover, but decided on some Platinum. Due to the success I had with last year's product, I was expecting some good things.

First off, I think the set as a whole looks stunning. I guess the best way to explain this set is that Topps Chrome had a love child with Donruss Elite; the best of both worlds in terms of design. The Rookie Cards seem to have a Chrome-ish design to them, like last year, but still retain the Platinum design. Rookies are now numbered within the base set, like most topps football products I've seen this year, which really perplexes me. Refractors are simple yet elegant; they seem to bring out the silver background of the card even more. The auto I pulled wasn't too stunning, but I can't complain about pulling the top rookies.
I'll be putting the base set together, so just holla if you got any base or rookies.
