Coming Soon: 2011 Prestige

When it comes to licensed NFL products, Prestige has been the first product out of the gate since the departure of Ultra, and had annually been the first to provide rookies with actual draft information.

2011 is no exception. Today Panini announced via their blog 2011 Prestige Football.

Carrying a pack SRP of $4, 2011 Prestige will deliver 4 autograph or memorabilia cards (with at least 1 autograph guaranteed), 24 Rookie Cards and 23 additional inserts or parallels per box. The set consists of 250 cards, 100 of which will be rookies.

A new rookie-based insert set is introduced this year. Passport looks just like the name implies. It is unknown as to whether this is an auto-only set or if it is an insert with auto parallels. If I were a betting man, I’d take the latter.

2011 Prestige will be released on May 11th. Mark your calendars and stay tuned to the Podcast, as well as this site as more information becomes available.
