Just got home, it's in a screwdown...There was a little bit of adhesive on the card, any ideas on how to get it off?

Probably going on the bay with this one...

I couldn't find a black ref that has ended on the bay but the regular ones have been ending around $100

Any ideas of what it might get?

Don't try to take it off. There are some products for it, I can't remember their names, but you don't want to ruin the finish.

              Alright, this is serious lol

There is a tiny bit of adhesive on the card...what do I do?

Try to get it off (if so how?) or do I contact topps to get a replacement?

              Or just leave it...

              PLEASE HELP!

So should I try to get a replacement from topps or sell as is?

I'm not going to lie and say it's mint when it's not but will it make that much of a difference when selling?

If it does, then I'll probably try to get a replacement...

I would ask for a replacement from Topps. Selling it with the damage will reduce the selling price greatly.

                    Dang...that really sucks

I bet they won't have this exact card either...

last raw one ended at $199...

Oh well, looks like I get to experience my first topps replacement story

Well what I do when there is tape adhesive and such on a card is I go wash the heck out of my hands and don't touch anything else accept the card. Now keep rubbing with your thumb. It will produce friction which should 'heat up' the crud and you should be able to 'wipe' it off after a minute or so. Just keep 'working' the crud to the edge of the card until it comes off. This trick of mine has NEVER hurt the finish on it. Good luck, take your time, and act as if its a Ozzie Smith 1/1 or something .

I would use a dry lint free rag instead of my thumb.... perhaps it will "roll" off... without leaving fingerprint smudges

                            alright...I'll figure something out...

Now, after it's "heated"...what do I use to rub it off with?

paper towel, a clean X, ect?

                            lmk thanks!
