Box Break

I am not doing well at all today. I just overcame a series of physical and mental illness last month, I think this will be another one of those month long issues. What brought a smile and joy in my heart today was the fact that today is the first 2013 football Sunday game. Another fantastic surprise was that Mrs. Toshi went to Walmart with her friends, (A girls shopping day) and found a hobby box of 2012 Panini Prime Signatures and she picked up a "Blaster Box" of the newly released 2013 Topps Platinum.

Most surprising and fun part of the box break was the fact that Mrs. Toshi told me to rip open the packs. As I've mentioned time and time again; "Mrs. Toshi rips the packs and I organized the cards"! So this was a nice surprise. I will be signing off for now, at least temporarily. When I feel better, I will definately let my fellow forum members know! We both enjoyed our Sunday. Ah, I forgot to add that the 2012 Panini Prime Signatures was the first time I've ever opened this product. Card stock is excellent and the minimalist design gives Signature a very elegant presentation. Why? Why? Why, was it at Walmart? It is definately a hobby box. this is a very strange scenario. As for the Platinum? Compared to last years Platinum, '13 Platinum has a wonderful graphic design that blends very well with the color choice, where as '12 Platinum was a less is more concept.

May I add, to all CCW forum members. Behind of each 2013 Topps Platinum Card at the top, a Twitter account of the player that is represented in the front is available. Certain players like Tony Romo and Philip Rivers are not available. I’m sure there are more players with their Twitter account not available but at this time I do not have the aforementioned information. Have fun Tweeting to your favorite NFL Star!

I doubt Romo or Rivers is smart enough to use a computer little less Twitter! It's cool if you want to tweet your favorite player, but be forewarned, most times you will not get a reply or if you do, there's no certainty that it even came directly from them. Many athletes and celebrities have reps that do that for them.

Yes, I'm very aware of the situation. It's just the fact that I grew up at a time where phones had dials and the receiver was tethered to the base with a one foot curled cord similar to a curly fry! I'm just amazed that the current technology allows a fan to Tweet your favorite player, and receive a generic reply in return.
