Beckett Raw Graded Cards

This weekend, Beckett Grading was at Sports Cards Plus in San Antonio. I was not able to make the trip out, but sent some cards to my friend to have them graded. I'm glad I did.

Here are the results:



They are now going to be slabbed.

curious about the Raw review. Does someone on site review & determine what they would be if you sent them in? Once done, do you just send them to bgs to get slabbed & they don't review again?

They have a grader on site that puts them in the holders with the stickers above. The grade is only guaranteed if you send it back with them to be slabbed at that time. Any later time, it is not guaranteed.

I seem to have a pretty good eye for cards to submit. If it looks like it will get a 9 or lower, I don't even bother submitting it. I've had lots of offers on the Stras, Wilson, and Maunel but have been holding off for this because I knew they should get a 9.5 or better.

What does it cost for the raw grade and then do you have to pay to have them slabbed at full price?

It depends on how many cards you submit. Usually at the sites they have discounts that if you do 10-20 cards, it would be $6 per card with an extra $1 if they are autographed. Then it depends on how quick you want return shipping on how much it will cost you after to have them slabbed. The nice part about the on site is that you don't have to pay to ship them out and there is usually a $5 or so discount since you just had it raw reviewed.
