I had been taking baby steps here and there, I definitely was avoiding Tuesday. Once every couple of weeks I get what's called trigger point shots with a Epidural shot. With four trigger point shots in my neck and back with the final Epidural in my back, let's just say I'm not a happy camper.

Don't get me wrong, once the medication leaches into my muscle, I feel like I can run a marathon. Well, not a marathon but I'm able to get out of bed by myself and navigate the serpentine rooms and the hallway in our quaint nice condo. Lately, I've gotten used to the silence in our condo. With my son whom lives at home, he currently works as the third shift head honcho manager at Walmart and my youngest daughter in her own apartment across the street from Kent University. This gives me a lot of time to enjoy my three cats, and joyfully reviewing our card collection. Mrs. Toshi works from Monday through Friday six am to two pm across the street from our condo. Yes, this is convenient for us.

I must admit. I need to enjoy this Zen like silence in this monastic lifestyle as much as possible. In November, I'll be a part time caregiver to my Grandson! I keep forgetting what his name is, but once he arrives, I'm sure I'll definitely remember his name through his angelic smile, his resounding cries, watching his curious eyes view this strange new world, and enjoy the changing of his diapers about as much as collecting football cards of Ryan Leaf! What's really cool for me is the fact that this time out, I know exactly what to do. You'll never forget how to ride a bike!

The big plus is I get to do this when I want to. When Thursday night, Sunday all day all night, and Monday night rolls around for NFL fans like us? I'll be watching and laughing at my son and his girlfriend struggling to find out how to deal with this human being that is completely hopeless at least during the first year of his life. My biggest fear is when he starts to walk. I must adamantly hide our football card collection within the bowls of the earth, never to be touched nor seen by this curious imp. I know this is too early to think about this, but for how "Time Flies" I'll be at my grandsons high school game watching him go for a touchdown! Time is fleeting, make everyday count, you can never get it back except in your memories. This is when I'll start to share our football card collection with not only my grandson but I'm sure they'll be grandchildren by this time.

Enough of me sharing my thoughts present and future. I'm here to share some of the breaks Mrs. Toshi picked up for me. She always gets me cards when I go for these shots. I feel like a child after a dentist/doctor appointment that receives a lollipop. If this is the case, I can endure this treatment for as many times as I need them. Thanks to 90's Triplets Platinum showcase threads, he's inspired me this morning to share our breaks as well. Here are our 2013 Topps Platinum Retail and hobby pack breaks!

Just a quick note, I've been asking my daughter whom is majoring for a PH.D in photography and related computer technology needed to produce film, if she can help me scan my cards as it will be more visually appealing. Her suggestion as a photographer was this; "Dad, when you first started to take pictures of your cards, they were pretty good, now your photo shoots have depth and some interesting angles. Keep doing what you're doing, it will only improve"! So this past weekend, she helped me build a photo booth exclusively for taking shots of our football card collection. She used common household items and it cost $00.00! Tell me what you think?

    Thank you,

    Toshi

You were the very first forum member with whom I completed my first trade with. Since that time, I have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of any and all packages sent from you. Please tell your son I said; "Thank you"! When I'm at full strength, I will be sending your cards out. I also have as well a special treat and surprise for my new 5 year old collecting partner.

      Thank you Mr. Schwood!

It is the first 100 cards in the set I believe. Got a huge box of these, and put a couple of sets together and immediately thought you might like one.

My very first hobby pack Mrs. Toshi purchased for me was the 2012 Topps Platinum. I've been a fan of Platinum since! This will be my first complete set of Platinum! I'm so excited!!!!! It's not just the base cards, it's the special decoy insert sapphire parallel. WOW! WOW! WOW!

I can't thank you enough. You're a person that the world needs more of.

              Thank you so much,
              Toshi

Nah, it isn't a complete set unfortunately. Just the veterans. I wish I had a complete rookie set to send you as well, but no such luck from these boxes. Hope you enjoy em!

Just to have cards #1-100, is going to be so exciting for me. I realize that by industry standards that it is technically not
a complete set. But by the universal law of Shcwoodism, as far as I'm concerned, it's a complete set!!!!

                  Thank you,
                  Toshi
