'91 Stadium Club Favre rookie.

I need to stop purchasing Favre rookie cards. I now have three. Maybe I'll retire? Nah! I'll wait another year! Maybe I'll retire and go to a rival forum? LOL!

Yes! I got Michael EGGPLANT! The 2012 EGGPLANT player for football card collectors across the USA. The only consultation is that it's a very nice multi colored patch and it's labeled as a Prime.

A bit of extra info. The rest of my break went really well. The quad patch is my first. And the Brees Captains Patch card, Vernon, and Bush are my favorites.

The other cards are of players that I do enjoy watching in games!

Mr. Toshi....you have the error version of Mr. Favre, see how his last name is spelled on the front? I have one of those too, not sure if the error increases or decreases value tho. Anyone else have an idea?

This error on the Brett Favre card spelled "Farve" is an un-corrected error. Hence the book value via Beckett is $30.00. It would have been nice to own such a rare piece!

I now own two high end EGGPLANT cards, 2012 Triple Threads Gold Auto Relic and the Black. I would have welcomed a Fleener!

If I may, allow me to reiterate on Favre rookie cards. There are three rookie cards of Brett Favre that is the holy grail of Favre rookie cards. The first in my opinion that is rare is the 1991 Wild Card Draft 1000 Stripe RC Brett Favre #119. If you can find one, I have had no success in finding one, it sells in excess of $1,800.00. I have seen examples of the 5, 10, etc. These can be had at $30.00 and up.

The second rare Favre card which is the same error card you own has "Super Bowl XXVI" embossed at the top right hand corner, this card was passed out at the Super Bowl and only 200 are known to exist. I've seen one on eBay for $500.00.

The last rare card is not even a rookie card. It's from Upper Deck yet it was released in SPx packs. Apparently As we all know, Favre signed with the Vikings at the very last minute. The only card released in time was the 2009 Upper Deck #112B. I have not seen any since I started collecting in 2012. There is a 112C, I have seen this card on eBay for $90.00. The #112B sells for double that.

The only authorized rookie card with Favre's auto is the Star Pic card. The auto must be signed in the back. Anything else is subject to forgery.
