Before I start, I wanted to recognize a fellow forum member who has constantly answered every question I had in regards to collecting a complete set. This member is a exclusive complete set collector. Time and time again, I get valuable information. Is it a good price? Should I purchase this or that? Is this particular set popular with set collectors, and why? I hold his information and his experience in high regard. Thank you RBRedskins!
If I were twenty years younger, I guess the proper analogy would be; "I want to shout out to my homey RB! LOL!
Yes, I'm way behind the eight ball. This set made it's debut a year ago. Why did it take me so long? During this period, Mrs. Toshi and I were in a mad frenzy in our very new hobby at that time. We were literally purchasing every hobby box that made its debut in 2012 as well as every retail product. All of this was a new experience for us. Like little children opening their presents on Christmas Day.
2012 Chrome has always been in the back of my mind. Recently, as I was in pursuit of a complete Chrome set, many of you as forum members answered my call in regards to completing a set. The only difference is that this was not for me but for Brett. He was much closer to completing a Chrome set than I was. Once again, I pushed my project aside. I know things don't happen for no reason at all. When I got to know a forum member RBRedskins, I instantly understood my situation. If I had purchased complete sets without RBRedskins vast experience, Mrs. Toshi and I would have been running around unnecessarily in a "willy nilly" way, buying up complete sets and spending much more than we should have.
Up until this recent purchase, I plowed through several scenarios with RBRedskins. Finally, I completed my project and we are now proud owners of a 2012 Topps Chrome Complete Set 1-220.
Hmmmm? I wonder what complete set should I look into now?
Thank you,
Toshi
