As promised, I received my set of 2012 Topps Platinum cards. Through my searches on eBay, the available sets were all 1-100. What's a set without the rookies? Just junk! Especially in 2012. There was a sellar that had a 1-150 2012 Platinum a few weeks ago. I had saved that sellar and inquired if a set was still available. They said they did, it was missing a few cards. Do I still want it? At a reduced price? Free shipping? My answer was yes, yes, and yes. As long as the missing cards were not Luck, RGIII, and Wilson I had no problem. Once that was determined, I hit the buy it now button.

I never do trades. It's a very rare thing for me. My reason to be a member of this forum is to help my cognitive issues and also to help me with my memory. A huge bonus was the fact that I've made so many friends that are my second family on CCW. I also enjoy viewing members collections and reading their comments. My reason not to trade is due to my very limited amount of cards. For the rookies, I just started collecting in December of 2012. I'm 46. An old grumpy Japanese man with some cardboard. Next month my family will start a Christmas tradition by calling me Scrooge!

Back to the subject of trading, what I have I value so. I'm truly thankful for everything I have. About the only cards I wish not to own is of Mark Sanchez, Blaine Gabbert, and such. You get my drift. I always keep an open mind in my life, never to say never. You just don't know what hidden gem is out there. Today, azdbacks has my diamond. The three missing 2012 Platinum cards. Thank you so much azdbacks. You've helped me complete my set. In retrospect, to the rookies, please always ask me if I'm interested in a trade. You just might never know!
