  • 2013 Absolute Football (retail)

Well we went to do some christmas shopping and of course when in any wal-mart I wonder over to the card section lol. Well I seen the Absolute Football 2013 box and like the cards this year, so I grabbed one and walked. Well after getting home and unpacking I decided to bust it with my youngest son. Well with 80 cards there is to much to mention. But here is a rundown of some of the stars included in the box.

    Andrew Luck
    RG3
    Russell Wilson
    Calvin Johnson Jr.
    Eli,Peyton Manning
    Tony Romo
    Aaron Rodgers
Alex Smith....along with many many more actually was a good variety of the rookie/vet class being mixed up well.

Right off the bat my boy noticed 2 rather large packs and said save these for last.

We got down to the 2 big packs and this is the hits

Rookie Premiere Materials Tyler Eifert 44/99

    Rex Burkhead Rookie 343/499

    Le'Veon Bell Hogg Heaven
    Vincent Jackson blue spectrum

I really like these cards, even though they are low end the way that panini has captured the player rather then focus on the card is a plus in my book.

I collect new rookies, Aj McCarron, Eddie Lacey, Ej Manuel, Geno smith, Marqise Lee, Aaron Dobson, Older cards (1950s-1990s) along with anything that catches my eye along with Crimson Tide players/former players.

Nice lot of cards, for the minimal investment in return for 80 cards, Panini Absolute is a very fair product. If you have the opportunity to purchase a Absolute Hobby Box, do so. The Hobby version cards are very impressive. It's one of those products where the base cards really stand out. It's like Panini Crown Royale.
I am easy, I collect any and all NFL cards. Individual players I really enjoy are Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Matt Ryan, Andrew Luck, RGIII, and Russell Wilson. My passion is Favre rookie cards and vintage cards.
