  • 90's Triplets "WOW says Mrs. Toshi"

    To my fellow forum members,

Out of the blue I received a PM from 90's Triplets. He had a photo of three Brett Favre cards he picked up while on vacation. The thing that struck me most was the fact that he thought of me while on vacation! Upon his return, he promptly sent me a PM asking if I would like these cards? Of course my answer was a unanimous yes! This kind gesture led to a simple trade.

I'm sure when some (Not all members) read that I consider the CCW community as my second family, many think of me as an old Japanese man out of his mind. Not to worry, this is what Mrs. Toshi says to me on a daily basis. But in truth, such kind thoughts and actions like 90's Triplets makes my comment more of a reality. During one day a year, everyone has the same thoughts that is "Goodwill to All Men and Woman". The world can learn from a very small and unique group of individuals whom subscribe to CCW that this saying is not something to act on once a year, but is practiced 365 days a year here on CCW! Thank you, 90's Triplets! Mrs. Toshi loves the 1998 Upper Deck SPX Holo View Brett Favre #18!

    Toshi

Just a personal preference! I cannot stand 2012 Panini Contenders. It looks really cheap with the giant looking flag with Rookie Ticket and such written on it. The rest of the information is redundant at best. I realize that one of the most sought after auto rookie cards of P. Manning, Brady, and Luck carry a premium in the Thousands! The earlier cards of Manning and Brady actually looks good as the graphics are enhanced, the 2012 Contenders with the highly sought after Luck Auto is a simple intaglio stamp. I have received hash criticism for my dislike in the current Contenders. My comments here are my humble opinion and I apologize in advance if I have insulted any forum members.

With that said, I am absolutely in love with the graphic design enhancements of the cards from 90's Triplets. It has subtle nuances that catches your eye in the right light and angle. I truly wish that Panini America will reestablish this design with modern accruements for the debut of 2014 Contenders!

    Toshi
I am easy, I collect any and all NFL cards. Individual players I really enjoy are Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Matt Ryan, Andrew Luck, RGIII, and Russell Wilson. My passion is Favre rookie cards and vintage cards.
